Job summary

Chippewa Valley Schools is seeking a Food Handler/Custodian for Clinton Township, MI. The 10-month, non-exempt role runs 6:30am–3:00pm and pays $22.44–$26.35 per hour. Primary duties include delivering, stocking, and ensuring cleanliness across district facilities.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid MI driver’s license, and basic math and safety knowledge. DOT-like testing and physicals are required before employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license; DOT driving standards.
• Experience in food service or safe food handling preferred.
• Ability to read and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, and store daily food and supply orders.
• Load/unload food and supplies, drive to satellite locations as needed.
• Perform custodial duties in Central Kitchen and daily trash/recycle removal.
• Follow health, safety, and DOT requirements; maintain records as required.
