Job summary

Trio-Community Meals in Lafayette, LA is seeking a Food Service Director to lead the Community Meals team. You will manage all aspects of the food service department and direct a talented group of food service workers to ensure meals reach clients reliably.

Qualifications

• Two years of coordinating food service operations required.
• Experience with industrial cooking preferred.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse client/customer environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all functions of the food service department and resources.
• Lead and train a team of associates including hiring.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Develop department budget and purchase ingredients to meet targets and forecasts.
• Coordinate with district manager on dining service technical and administrative aspects.
