Job summary

Villaspring is hiring for a full-time or part-time Food Service – Dietary Assistant in our state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility in Kentucky. You will assist in delivering meals from the kitchen to residents and collaborate with the nursing team to promote a great dining experience for residents.

Responsibilities include serving meals, helping cooks with prep and cleanup, maintaining dining rooms, and stocking supplies.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in working with patients and food service as related to total patient care.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work independently and as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Provides meal service delivery and cleanup for residents from the facility kitchen/kitchenettes.
• Assists cooks as needed with other food prep and cleanup tasks of the kitchen.
• Assists with dishes, equipment cleaning, maintenance of dining rooms and checking/unloading stock.
• Performs related duties and other duties as assigned.

We have new leadership in this department and are excited to welcome new staff members to join the team as Food Service – Dietary Assistant in our state of the art, skilled nursing facility. The Food Service Assistant assists in the overall food delivery process from the kitchen to the residents in the nursing care units. The position works collectively with the nursing department and other team members to promote a great dining experience for the residents.

$13.50 - $16.00 an hour based on experience!
