ShopRite - Food Service Clerk (RoNetco NJ) is hiring for the Succasunna location. You will deliver attentive service, prepare foods, and assist the Food Service Manager in daily department operations while maintaining a clean, safe, and appealing display and following all health standards.

The role requires strong English skills, basic math, physical stamina, and the ability to work with diverse products in a fast-paced environment. 18+ years required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle cash transactions.
• Willingness to stand, walk, lift up to 60 lbs as needed.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and with fresh, processed foods.
• Positive customer service approach and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable service and greet customers.
• Assist Food Service Manager with daily operations and promotions.
• Prepare products (salads, sandwiches, entrees) per recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe handling across food service areas.
• Follow all safety, QA, and regulatory procedures and dress code.
