Lunds & Byerlys Bloomington is seeking a part-time Food Service Clerk to create a welcoming shopping experience for our customers. You will greet customers, assist with deli items, and maintain cleanliness in the deli department.

Shifts typically run from 2:00pm to 10:00pm with a competitive hourly wage of $16.00 to $18.50. This role offers strong teamwork, supportive colleagues, and growth opportunities within a family-owned grocery retailer dedicated to quality and service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience in deli or food service.
• Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wrap, weigh and price deli items accurately.

Lunds & Byerlys Bloomington is currently hiring for a vibrant and outgoing Part-time Food Service Clerk to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers! This position works a Part-time schedule and earns a competitive wage of $16.00 - $18.50/hr.

We operate 7 days/week and are open from 6:00am-10:00pm. For this position the employee would be scheduled a range of shifts between 2:00pm - 10:00pm.

FOOD SERVICE CLERK RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Food Service Clerks are responsible for a wide variety of tasks such as:

• Greeting and assisting customers
• Slicing deli meats, cheeses, and breads
• Wrapping, weighing, and pricing deli items accurately
• Stocking, rotating, and staging deli merchandise to ensure quality and freshness
• Creating a welcoming and safe environment
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the department

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience:
• Customer service experience preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in deli or food service
• Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification

Communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
