The Cafe Attendant is responsible for assisting the Revenue Manager with a wide variety of food service tasks including cash register operation, customer service, production of food items, stocking food items, and cleaning. The position will be responsible to and evaluated by the Revenue Manager.

Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities:

1. Must enthusiastically represent RIVERSPORT by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.
2. Greet, acknowledge, and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
3. Maintain sanitation, cleanliness, safety, and food standards in compliance with health department, legal and company standards/guidelines, and ensure adherence by all stand team members.
4. Become knowledgeable about the menu and prices at assigned location; be ready and able to make menu suggestions to guests.
5. Follow the proper cash register procedures.
6. Take and fill orders for the guests.
7. Prepare food according to set standards, including cooking temperature, portion control, serving standards, and quality.
8. Keep work area cleaned and well stocked.
9. Perform regular and scheduled cleaning.
10. Perform all opening and closing procedures for assigned location.
11. Follow policies in addition to grooming and uniforms set forth by Employee Handbook and department manager.
12. Must be available to work Monday through Sunday and all shifts whether they are morning, afternoon, or evening hours.

Physical Requirements:

1. Must be able to sit, stand &/or walk for long periods of time throughout the day.
2. Must be able to work outdoors at various times throughout the year.
3. Requires manual and bi-manual dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, hand/eye coordination, near vision, hearing and speech.
4. Requires occasional kneeling and bending.
5. Requires occasional walking, reaching above shoulder, pushing and pulling.
6. Requires occasional lifts and carries up to 30 pounds.

Work environment: This position requires occasional work in or around wetness, confined spaces, cramped quarters, heights, noise, detergents/chemicals, mechanical hazards, moving objects, fumes/odors, dust, mists, gases, or vibrations. The noise level is generally moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
