Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley is seeking a patient meal service associate under the Food Service Director to assemble and distribute meals to patients.

This role is part-time and located on-site at St. Mary Medical Center-Apple Valley, offering opportunities within Providence’s patient-focused care culture. Enrollment in a Food Service Management course or related experience is required for candidacy.

Under the direction of the Food Service Director and Food Service Supervisor, performs a variety of duties and tasks related to the assembly and distribution of patient meals.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Food Service Management course with a minimum of 1 semester completed, or 6 months of food service experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in hospital setting.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
