Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in food preparation or food services.
• Food Handler’s certification as applicable by local or state regulations required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits and measuring items.
• Safely transport pans, kettles, and trays between workstations while following safety protocols.
• Store food properly with FIFO and proper dating.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards for quality and portions.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Set up and monitor serving line, record temperatures, and notify chef of deviations.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers with professionalism.
• Stock pantry items and refrigerators and log inventory and temperatures.
• Assist in meal tray preparation and delivery as needed.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient food service operations.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
