Job summary

Bay Area Hospital is seeking a Food Service Associate I for a 32-hour/week part-time role in the Food Services department. The position supports tray-line activities, maintains sanitation standards, and restocks kitchen areas to ensure smooth operation for patient care and retail services.

The role requires ability to follow standard recipes, meet production timelines, and work onsite with reliability and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must hold Oregon Food Handler or ServSafe certification within 30 days of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to read, write and converse in English.
• Oregon state driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, and pots & pans safely.
• Restock dishes, utensils, and pots & pans in proper locations.
• Assist with patient tray line activities.
• Assist with cleanup of catering events.
• Prepare products per standardized recipes for retail, patient care, catering, and functions.
