Univ. of Maryland - Baltimore County is hiring a full-time Food Service Worker. Location: 1000 Hilltop Circle, Baltimore, MD 21250. Schedule includes 6:30 am - 2:30 pm or 4:00 pm - 9:30 pm, Sunday through Saturday.

Qualifications

• No prior experience is needed; willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work: washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from stations.
• Stores food in designated areas following safety procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and equipment.
• Uses recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory and cash procedures.
• Adheres to sanitation and safety requirements.
