Huck’s Food and Fuel in Illinois is seeking a Food Service Associate to help run the food service area with high standards for cleanliness and customer service. You will be part of a 100% employee-owned company and contribute to an environment where the customer is the most important person in all our stores.

Responsibilities include opening the food service area on shift, serving customers promptly, following safety rules, maintaining inventory, and supporting merchandising and loyalty app

• Ensures the food service department is open and ready for business during service hours.
• Gives customers prompt and courteous service.
• Follows safety rules and maintains a clean food service area.
• Prevents waste by controlling food preparation while meeting demand.
• Promotes Huck’s Bucks Loyalty app to customers.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and follows sanitation procedures.
• Complies with all federal, state and local laws and ordinances.
• Trains new associates on proper duties.
• Maintains proper inventory levels and communicates needs to management.
