Job summary

The Nashua School District is seeking a Food Service Assistant - Tier 3 (3.5 hours/day) at Bicentennial Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. POSITION: Food Service Assistant - Tier 3 (3.5 hours/day)

LOCATION: Bicentennial Elementary School

WORK YEAR: 2026 - 2027 School Year

SALARY RANGE

• Depending on experience and/or SNA Certification,
• Minimum starting salary $16.40 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in food handling and cashiering experience desirable.
• Must be physically capable of performing duties, which include the ability to walk, bend, and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry, with assistance, objects weighing a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must have the ability to work with a variety of food service and cleaning related products

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Aid in preparation and serving of food; requires ability to handle money and count back change; assist with clean up in food service areas and equipment; familiarity with sound safety and health practices; performs other duties as assigned by the Cook, Site Coordinator or Director of Food Service.
