Good Samaritan in Fargo, ND is seeking a Food Service Assistant to join our not-for-profit team. You will monitor temperatures, prepare and serve meals, restock areas, and keep the serving area clean while following HACCP guidelines.

The role is full-time, day shift, with 30 weekly hours. Must be 16+ with customer service experience; on-the-job training provided; benefits include health/dental/vision insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 with customer service experience.
• Ability to read, write and follow directions; basic math skills.
• On-the-job training will be provided; HACCP knowledge preferred.
• Basic food service experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record proper temperature of food.
• Set up and maintain a clean, sanitized serving area and restock food areas.
• Prepare and serve food items and operate a computerized register.
• Assist with cleaning and HACCP compliance as directed.
