State of Wisconsin at Central Wisconsin Center in Madison is seeking multiple full-time Food Service Assistant 2 positions. Shifts are 6:00 am - 2:30 pm or 11:00 am - 7:30 pm, every other weekend.
The role supports food service operations and resident meals with a 12-month probation and a $18.00/hour starting wage, plus comprehensive benefits. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered to those without prior state service in the last five years and who stay through probation.

The Department of Health Services (DHS), Central Wisconsin Center (CWC) is recruiting multiple full-time Food Service Assistant 2 positions. Shifts for these positions at CWC are from 6:00 am - 2:30 pm or 11:00 am - 7:30 pm and every other weekend.
CWC provides short-term and long-term residential services to assist people living with intellectual disabilities in acquiring the personal skills needed to reach their highest potential. CWC is located at 317 Knutson Drive on the North side of Madison. CWC also has a 24/7 fitness center, free parking, and is on the Madison Metro bus route.

As a Food Service Assistant, you will provide portion prepared food items from bulk containers to individual trays, snack bags and bag lunches based on diet. You will also be responsible for:
The starting pay is $18.00 per hour, plus excellent benefits. A 12-month probationary period is required.
A $3,000 sign-on bonus applies to those with no prior state service in the last five years; who stay with CWC until completing probation. Bonus will be split, $1,500 upon hire and $1,500 after completing probation.
Pay for current or former state employees will be set based on the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction. These positions are classified as a Food Service Assistant 2 and are in pay schedule and range 03/09.
