Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group in Berkeley seeks a Food Service Assembly Team Member to join the production team. You will be hands-on in preparing, assembling, and packaging delicious food products, while maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong work ethic, and following recipes precisely. Previous food production experience is a plus, but not required, with room to grow and advance within the company.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing and warehouse environment, specifically in the packaging and warehousing areas.
• Standing is required for most of the workday.
• The work requires movement in and out of warehouses, near heavy machinery and freezers.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures (hot and cold) due to cooking and refrigeration equipment.
• The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high.
