Job summary

Regency Hospital - Central Georgia in Macon, GA is seeking a Food Service Aide to support patient meals and dining room service on a per diem basis. This role involves food preparation, serving patients, families, staff and visitors, with emphasis on timeliness and safety.

The position requires 1 year of experience in healthcare food service or a strong interest in clinical dining support. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; hospital setting experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of patient food services, dining room services and dish room services.
• Be an integral part of the food preparations, serving of the prepared food to patients, families, staff and visitors and assisting in clean up.
• Be timely and efficient when preparing food.
• Provide high quality food preparation and service.
• Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising the quality of work.
• Volunteer to help in other areas of the kitchen when necessary.
• Operate equipment and perform related duties in a safe manner.

Schedule: PRN/Per Diem/As Needed

Compensation: $15.00 per hour
