Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Aide to join our K-12 lunch program and help prepare, serve, and distribute meals with care and efficiency.

You will work with a team of professionals in a fast-paced environment, maintain safety standards, handle simple arithmetic for transactions, and uphold a clean, professional appearance while contributing to a positive dining experience. Previous food service or customer service experience is preferred; ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Qualifications

• Food service experience preferred or customer service experience desired.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Follows food safety requirements/guidelines.
• Successfully pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, serving, distributing food and clean up and may require working in varius areas.
• Setting the team up for success by preparing the condiments and utensil areas.
• Contributing to a positive work environment.
• Demonstrating integrity, dependability, and punctuality.
• Maintaining a professional appearance.
• Following food safety requirements/guidelines.
• Performs other duties as requested by the leadership team.
