Beth Israel Lahey Health in Massachusetts is seeking a Food Service Associate to support patient meals and nourishment delivery in a busy hospital setting.
In this per-diem role, you will help with tray setup, dishwashing, inventory, and sanitation, assist dietitians with meal information, and ensure timely, courteous service to patients, visitors and staff. Reading and writing at a 10th grade level is required; ServeSafe certification is a plus.

Must be able to read, write and communicate verbally at 10th grade level in order to follow work instructions.

This job requires frequent bending, carrying, pulling, pushing, reaching, standing, stooping, walking and lifting over 10 lbs. There will be occasional need for climbing stairs, lifting in excess of 50 - 100 lbs and sitting. Constant use of hearing, sight and speech. Frequent use of smell and touch. Frequent keyboard and telephone use. Constant concentration and problem solving.
Pay Range: $17.69 - $27.44This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
