Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a food and beverage server at Valley Forge Casino Resort. You will greet guests, take orders, retrieve prepared meals, and deliver them with accuracy. This on-site role emphasizes friendly service and efficient operation.

Candidates should stand/walk for shifts, lift up to 40 pounds, and use a computerized system for orders and payments. English communication and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Six months of food and beverage service preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must communicate in English.
• Knowledge of menu and service standards.
• Ability to use computer system for placing orders and processing payments.

• Carry and balance trays and/or push carts of food and beverages throughkitchen and dining room (approximately 20 to 30 pounds).


• Maintain cleanliness of all areas of the dining room.


• Present check to guest.


• Collects payment and/or deliver to cashier.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of food and beverage service experience preferred.


• Working knowledge of food specialty or cuisine and service standards inspecific room strongly preferred.


• Must be able to stand and walk for majority of shift.


• Must be able to lift and carry trays weighing approximately 40 pounds. Mustbe able to communicate in English.


• Utilize computer system for placing food and beverage orders andprocessing payments.


• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.


• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications
