Job summary

H-E-B in Plano, TX seeks a Sales Rep to stock and sell products to new and existing retail customers. You will order assigned products to maximize sales, merchandise shelves, and maintain cleanliness and signage.

Under supervision you will apply basic procedures, check shipments for freshness, and support in merchandising to boost sales while upholding safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years experience preferred.
• Knowledge of department products and equipment is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for food and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide good customer service.
• Organize, clean, and prepare back area for incoming deliveries.
• Keep sales floor uncluttered and free from spills.
• Stock and rotate items as needed.
• Reset products and maintain shelf conditions and signage in department.
• Check shipments for out-of-date and damaged products to ensure freshness and quality.
• Ensure that all regulations and standards for product freshness, safety, refrigeration, and sanitation are met.
• Maintain standards in shrink, safety, and inventory control.
• Assist in merchandising the department to maximize sales.
• Use suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales.
