Job summary

Green Top Farms is a New York‑based food service company delivering farm‑fresh meals for enterprise dining and corporate catering in the New York region. We are seeking a hands‑on Food Safety & Quality Assurance professional to monitor FSQA programs on the production floor and uphold rigorous safety standards.

You will report to the Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager and lead CCP checks, audits, and training across departments to ensure accurate labeling, proper temperatures, and compliant

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in food processing or food manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety Plans, GMPs, environmental monitoring and allergen control.
• Familiarity with commercial kitchen and commissary sanitation procedures.
• Reliable and punctual with time-sensitive tasks.
• Proactive communicator to identify issues early.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain FSQA programs including HACCP plans and GMPs.
• Perform CCP checks and ensure labeling compliance.
• Audit production processes for quality and safety.
• Oversee PPE use, equipment safety, sanitation, and temperature monitoring.
• Review packaging for accurate ingredient declarations and nutrition panels.
• Organize storage and maintain a clean, organized facility.
• Identify deviations and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Calibrate thermometers and scales per procedures.
• Train staff on food safety practices.
• Ensure company policies are followed.
