Job summary

Mom's Meals seeks a Quality Assurance and Food Safety Supervisor to oversee HACCP and GMP programs across meat, poultry, seafood and vegetables, including training and documentation.

The role collaborates with USDA/FSIS inspectors, conducts internal audits, supervises QA technicians, and ensures compliance with food safety systems and safety guidelines. Weekend shifts required; strong English communication and leadership needed.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Food Science, Culinary Science or related field.
• HACCP certification for meat, poultry, seafood.
• Previous experience in USDA/FSIS inspected facility with QA.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Must read/write/speak English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality and food safety programs (HACCP, GMPs, labeling) and staff training.
• Coordinate with USDA/FSIS inspectors, FDA and state inspectors; obtain samples as needed.
• Monitor sanitation activities and assist in pre-op inspections.
• Manage internal audits for QA/QFS plans; supervise technicians.
