Xperience Restaurant Group (XRG) is seeking a Runner to deliver dishes from kitchen to table swiftly and accurately while coordinating with front and back of house teams. The role supports waitstaff, maintains item flow, and ensures a high level of customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a High School Diploma, can work in the United States, and are comfortable using OpenTable. Flexible hours and a benefits package including health insurance are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• 18+ years of age and valid driver's license.
• Familiarity with OpenTable and safety procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables quickly and accurately.

Pay Rate: $12.15/Hour, Plus Tips opportunity!

Purpose

The Runner is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables rapidly and accurately. Acting as the point of contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for helping maintain the efficiency of a restaurant kitchen by delivering dishes to the table
• Making sure to deliver items to the customer's table when they are ready to eat
• Assist waiters and waitresses
• Keeps up constant flow of items from the kitchen to the table to the dishwasher
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to stay organized throughout the day to avoid becoming overwhelmed during busy times
• Must also be able to communicate well with other members of restaurant staff
• Needs to be coordinated and able to keep track of several different tasks at once
• It's important that an expeditor is not afraid to speak up loudly to let coworkers know what needs to be done
• Other duties/ tasks/ projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• High School Diploma preferred
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Valid Driver's License
• 18+ years of age
• Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards
• Minimum of one (1) years related experience
• Familiarity with Opentable
• Proper lifting techniques
• Guest relations
• Sanitation and safety
• Safe alcohol service
• Full service restaurant operations
• Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff, clients, and the public
