Job summary

Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star in Frisco, TX is seeking a team member to maintain high guest service standards as a busser in Neighborhood Services Restaurant. This is a seasonal, full-time role with AM and/or PM shifts, start date ASAP and end date Jan 15, 2027.

You will service guests, support the dining team, learn the menu, and uphold cleanliness and presentation. Prior bussing experience and valid TABC and Food Handlers certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Previous bussing experience at fine dining preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Must have valid TABC and Food Handlers certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests in the dining room and ensure a positive dining experience.

Overview

This team member will maintain the highest standards possible for the guest by insuring quick, efficient, and professional completion of busser duties in our Neighborhood Services Restaurant.

Please Note

This is a seasonal role with Full-Time hours.

Candidate must be available for AM and/or PM shifts

Start date of as soon as possible and an end date of January 15th, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Servicing all guests in the dining room in every way possible, ensuring the best possible experience in hopes that they will return
• To comply with attendance and punctuality standards.
• To comply with uniform standards.
• To properly set up entire restaurant.
• To have complete understanding of bussing standards.
• To have a complete understanding of the menu.
• To deliver food and beverage accurately to tables and in a timely manner.
• Needs to be able and willing to learn to utilize table numbers and seat numbers to deliver food.
• Be friendly and helpful with all guests. Use surnames whenever possible.
• To comply with food handling standards.
• Run food to all sections of the restaurant and bar.
• Communicate to guests whenever needed.
• Able to (after being trained) explain food to guests when serving.
• Able and willing to learn proper table service.
• Able to communicate to FOH and Kitchen Team
• Willing to learn basic knowledge about food preferences and allergies.
• Team player who wants to be the best
• To complete all assigned duties before checking out and clocking out.
• Inspecting and manicuring one's station in the restaurant to ensure that it is immaculate in both cleanliness and presentation.
• Station set-up and breakdown/side-work.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.
