Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Full-Time AM Food Runner | Texas Spice for the beautiful Barton Creek Resort & Spa! The Food Runner role is dedicated to providing quality service that exceeds Guest and Member expectations, working to create guests for life by proactively embracing service standards, adhering to safety regulations, and gaining the knowledge to assist guests with any and all needs.

Responsibilities

• Bring food from the kitchen to tables to support the servers.
• Assist servers during meal periods.
• Must have knowledge of all menu items.
• Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner.
• Assist the server with pre-busing of plates.
• Assist servers in any capacity to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Inquire if additional service is needed from guests upon delivery and inform the server or manager.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by supervisor or management.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 lbs without assistance.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have Food Handlers and ServSafe Alcohol Certification.
