Job summary

O'Connor's American Bar & Grille is looking for a friendly Food Runner to join our busy restaurant. You will be the link between the kitchen and the wait staff, helping set and clear tables, deliver food, and support the front and back of house.

Qualifications

• Experience as a busser, barback, food runner, or similar position preferred.
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Availability to work evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers their meals and drinks in an efficient manner.
• Communicate food orders to the kitchen staff.
• Refill drinks.
• Wipe down tables, chairs, and other surfaces.
• Remove tablecloths and reset tables.
• Remove dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware from tables.
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations.
