Job summary

GreenHouse Restaurant LLC is seeking an energetic Food Runner to join our opening team. You will help ensure timely delivery of food from the kitchen to guests and support a smooth, welcoming dining experience.

You will transport orders, verify accuracy, assist servers, maintain clean service stations, and follow safety guidelines. This part-time, on-site role offers a competitive hourly wage plus tip share and employee meal discounts, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to carry heavy trays (up to 30-40 lbs).
• Positive attitude and professional appearance.
• Preferred: Previous restaurant or food service experience.
• Knowledge of food safety practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Transport food orders from the kitchen to guest tables quickly and accurately
• Ensure all dishes are delivered at proper temperatures and presentation standards
• Verify orders match guest requests before delivery
• Deliver multiple orders efficiently during busy service periods
• Assist servers by delivering food and clearing tables
• Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate needs to servers
• Maintain professional and friendly demeanor with all guests
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers
• Alert servers when orders are ready
• Inform kitchen of any issues with orders or special requests
• Maintain cleanliness of service stations and dining areas
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
