The property currently consists of our hotel, which boasts 70+ hotel rooms, a locally favorite restaurant, Harry's Ocean Bar & Grill, and of course beach service. The resort is also proud to have Cape May’s only oceanfront liquor store – The Wine Cellar at Harry’s. The Montreal Beach Resort has recently been acquired by Madison Resorts, with plans to offer a complete renovation to this already beautiful property.

Summary:

The role of the Food Runner/Busser is to assist and aid in all points of service.

Responsibilities:

• Know, understand, and adhere to company established policies and procedures.
• Ensure guest interactions are always positive. Smile with every guest.
• Be knowledgeable about all products and special instructions and assignments given by manager.
• Wear proper uniform, clean & pressed. Retrieve and stock all necessary items needed for service or event before, during, and after scheduled shift, anticipating immediate needs. Follow through with “running side work” and be consistent with all points of service.
• Collect and return linen to assigned linen drop-off.
• Keep storage area and all service areas neat, clean, and stocked at all times.
• Serve water, coffee, bread, and butter; remove soiled wares from tables and reset to specific room standards.
• Take initiative knowing general menu, daily features, promotions, and communicate overall property-wide knowledge of events and locations to guests.
• Be courteous, friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic towards all guests and team members. Ensure all conversation is in good taste.
• Display a sense of urgency, making sure to be prepared and ready for any situation. Be swift and persistent.
• Return all soiled items back to the kitchen area, stacking and removing all debris from plates, bowls, glassware, etc.
• Assist the server and kitchen staff by running food to the appropriate tables.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
