Biaggi’s Ristorante Italiano in Omaha, NE is hiring Food Runners to help our dining rooms run smoothly and ensure a great guest experience.

You will deliver meals from the kitchen to tables, communicate orders between front and back of house, and assist with station setup and safety standards to maintain quality and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Hygiene and food safety rules understanding.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Strong oral communication skills.
• Calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to carry heavy trays and stand long hours.
• Ability to multitask in a busy setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from kitchen to customers' tables quickly and accurately.
• Maintain high quality and presentation of dishes.
• Serve as the link between Front of the House and Back of the House.
• Communicate food orders and accommodate priorities and allergies.
• Assist with side work and station setup while observing safety standards.

Food Runner responsibilities

Food Runner responsibilities include but are not limited to delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately, ensuring that the highest quality of food presentation is maintained, acting as the point-of-contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff, communicating food orders, paying attention to priorities and special requests (e.g. food allergies), ensuring food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. proper temperature), answering guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items, side work, and station set-up.

Food Runner Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment.
• Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and/or plates and stand for long hours.
