Job summary

Special Event Services in San Diego seeks a Food Runner to support our busy concessions team. You will help with setting up tents and grills, running a POS, taking orders, and delivering meals to customers while maintaining a friendly, efficient service standard.

The role involves cooking as needed, staying on top of health and safety rules, and taking on various tasks as events demand. Evening and weekend shifts are required to meet event schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience as a busser, barback, food runner, or similar position preferred.
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Availability to work evening and weekend shifts.

We are seeking a Food Runner to join the team at our busy concessions location! As a Food Runner, you have many responsibilities depending on need. Some examples include, setting up tents, grills, fryers, running a POS system and taking orders, cooking food, running food and other various tasks as assigned.
