Job summary

The Delicatessen in Phoenix is seeking a Food Runner to bridge kitchen and dining room, delivering dishes quickly and ensuring a welcoming, clean environment for every guest.

You will support servers, prepare dining areas, and help maintain safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced chef-driven restaurant group. Previous high-volume restaurant experience is preferred, along with a valid Food Handler card.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Current Food Handler card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to guest tables quickly and accurately.
• Assist servers with table maintenance and guest needs.
• Prepare dining areas before service including silverware, napkins, tableware, and condiments.
• Remove used dishes and reset tables efficiently.
• Help maintain cleanliness throughout the dining room.
• Communicate guest requests and feedback to restaurant staff.
• Serve as a key connection between Front of House and Back of House teams.
• Follow all health, sanitation, and safety standards.
