Job summary

Dave & Buster's Management Corporation, Inc. is seeking a diligent team member to assist Bartenders and Servers by delivering food from the kitchen to our Guests. This role necessitates a friendly demeanor and the ability to provide outstanding support for fast-paced service. Job description

Job Summary

Assists Bartenders and Servers by running food from the kitchen out to our Guests. When not running food, provide necessary support to ensure fast, friendly, and accommodating service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an unparalleled Guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment.
• Keep immediate supervisor promptly informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
• Takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action.
• Creates a warm, fun atmosphere for Guests and Team Members.
• Adheres to the company’s sanitation procedures.
• Restocks and prepares supplies for shift change and or close.
• Ensures food is properly garnished prior to running out to Guests.
• Follows all tray procedures to minimize loss and ensure food is delivered timely or correctly.
• Delivers food to tables and ensures the Guests have everything they need.
• Offers assistance to Guests by clearing away dishes and glassware, and refilling beverages.
• Assists other Team members as needed or when business needs dictate.

Requirements

• Friendly and smiling many times while working days, nights and/or weekends as required.
• Restaurant and/or bar experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to clearly communicate with Guests and other Team members.
• Physical demands described below.

Physical Demands

• Work days, nights and/or weekends as required.
• Work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions.
• Read and write handwritten notes.
• Lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Move about facility and stand for long periods of time.
• Walk or stand 100% of shift.
• Reach, bend and stoop frequently.
