Job summary

Urth Caffé in Laguna Beach, CA is seeking a dedicated Food Runner for the AM shift. You will deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables, ensuring accuracy and timely service to support a smooth dining operation.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Food Runner to join our team AM Shift Team. The ideal candidate will assist in the smooth operation of our restaurant by delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables in a timely manner.

Duties:

• Delivering food orders promptly to customers while ensuring accuracy and presentation
• Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure all orders are prepared timely and accurately
• Assisting in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
• Communicating effectively with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery
• Following food safety standards and procedures at all times

Experience:

• Prior experience in a restaurant setting is preferred
• Familiarity with food handling and basic kitchen operations
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines and practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

• The ability to lift 25/pounds regularly & un-assisted
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds
• The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
• The ability to safely climb ladders
• The ability to work in cold temperatures
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
• The ability to perform repetitive standing, walking, squatting, bending, kneeling, twisting, stooping, balancing, reaching, pushing
