Shamin Hotels is seeking a Food Runner in Palm Beach Gardens, FL to ensure timely delivery of meals from kitchen to tables and to support servers with accuracy and friendly service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, ownership, and guest satisfaction, with a focus on maintaining high standards of service in a fast-paced dining environment. Training and growth opportunities are available within a growing hotel group.

• Retrieve food orders from the kitchen and deliver them to the appropriate tables in a timely manner.

• Anticipate and respond promptly to customers' needs, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Handle customer inquiries or requests courteously and professionally.
• Inspect food orders before delivery to ensure they meet quality and presentation standards.
• Verify the accuracy of each order against the ticket to prevent errors or discrepancies.
• Notify kitchen staff or management of any quality issues or discrepancies in food orders.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety.
• Handle food items and serving utensils with care to avoid spills or accidents.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food running area and other work areas.

Position Overview

The Food Runner plays a crucial role in the restaurant by ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of food from the kitchen to the customers' tables. They work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to coordinate food orders and maintain high standards of service.

Essential Job Functions
