Job summary

Raintree Country Club, located in Charlotte, NC, seeks a part-time Food Runner to join the bustling food and beverage team. You will transport plates from the kitchen to the three-level dining room and assist with expediting food from the window when needed. The role includes two shifts: mornings from 10:30 A.M.

to 4 P.M. and evenings from 4 P.M. to 9:30 P.M., with responsibilities to ensure accurate service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 25 lbs to waist height.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Regular and reliable attendance, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Take correct food to assigned tables.
• Assist servers with guest requests.
• Keep dining areas clean and organized.
• Fill and refill water glasses; remove unused place settings.
• Clear and reset tables after guests depart.
• Stock workstations with necessary items and ingredients.
• Maintain safe work practices in job performance.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Support expediting food from the kitchen when needed.

Raintree Country Club, located in Charlotte, NC, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Food Runner! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our food and beverage team here at Raintree Country Club. As a food runner, you would be responsible for taking plates on a tray from our kitchen to our 3-level dining room. At times, you will be expediting the food from the window as well. There are 2 food runner shifts. The morning shift is 10:30 A.M to 4 P.M. and the evening shift is 4:00 P.M. to 9:30 P.M.

Key Responsibilities

Taking correct food to the correct table

Assisting the server with requests

Keeping a clean and organized area

• Fills and re-fills water glasses and removes any place settings not being used
• Clears dishes located in front of guest upon completion of course
• Clears and resets tables when guests leave, to include but not limited to: changes tablecloth, brushes chairs, places chairs at table, replaces silverware and glassware, and replaces napkins
• Assists the server when needed
• Keeps workstations well stocked of items and ingredients
• Clean workstations, takes out trash, and vacuums the dining room.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
• Performs other duties as required
