Job summary

Pura Vida Miami Llc is seeking friendly hospitality staff to welcome guests, provide top-notch service, and ensure a memorable dining experience. You will learn our menu, assist guests with choices, and deliver food and beverages with care.

We value teamwork and a positive attitude, with opportunities for growth. This role is based in Boca Raton, FL and offers competitive hourly compensation including tips.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all guests as they enter the store and provide an inviting experience
• Provide the highest level of customer service by addressing questions courteously
• Understand menu items, ingredients, and benefits to aid customer choices
• Deliver food and beverages with high quality and presentation
• Check on guests at tables to ensure satisfaction
• Restock stations and keep them clean and stocked
• Follow health, safety, and food handling policies
• Collaborate with manager and team to maintain smooth operations
• Support with additional duties as assigned

Compensation: $21-$22/hour (including tips)

$15/hour base + $6-$7/hour in tips (based on recent averages)

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Welcome all guests as they enter the store and provide them with an inviting and memorable experience.
• Provide the highest level of customer service by promptly addressing any questions or requests courteously.
• Have a thorough understanding of our menu items, including ingredients and benefits, to help customers make informed choices.
• Deliver guests' food and beverages, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
• Regularly check on guests at their tables to ensure they have everything they need and are satisfied with their dining experience.
• Restock stations regularly to ensure they are clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
• Follow all policies and procedures for health and food safety, ensuring an inviting environment for both guests and team members.
• Collaborate with your manager and team members to maintain smooth operations and a positive work atmosphere.
• Support with any additional duties assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in the hospitality and/or food service industry (e.g. restaurant, hotel, etc.)
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fun and outgoing attitude!
• Restock stations and keep them clean and organized.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• May stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
