Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Ability to work in refrigerated storage environments.
• Ability to move stock on hand trucks, pallet jacks, and lifts.
• Read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries from suppliers and verify against purchase orders for accuracy, quality, and completeness; document discrepancies.
• Break down skids and properly store raw materials.
• Fill requisitions from stock/warehouse in a timely manner for food, non-food, dry and refrigerated items.
• Restock, rotate, and organize inventory following FIFO procedures.
• Dispose of refuse by breaking down containers as required.
• Maintain clean and organized storage areas daily and assist with spills.
• Collaborate with supervisors and kitchen staff to provide requested items promptly.
• Support inventory checks and audits as needed.
• Adhere to HACCP, GMP, and food safety policies and procedures.
