Job summary

1800Flowers is seeking a QA Supervisor to ensure the facility complies with Local, State, and Federal food safety laws in a production environment. The role leads SQF/PCQI activities, manages QA staff, and partners with operations to maintain quality.

You will drive HACCP, GMP compliance, audits, and traceability programs, coordinate recalls, and support continuous improvement through training and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience ensuring compliance with Federal, State and GMP standards in a production environment.
• Strong leadership with ability to hire, train, and supervise QA staff.
• Proven ability to develop and implement QA training programs and maintain HACCP.
• Proficiency in leading SQF/PCQI activities and product recall/traceability.

Responsibilities

• Enforce internal Quality and Food Safety requirements across the facility.
• Act as SQF Practitioner, PCQI and member of the Food Safety and Quality Team.
• Hire, train, and supervise QA staff and ensure required training is completed.
• Lead daily operations of SQF System and QMS processes; implement corrective actions.
• Maintain HACCP program and manage environmental monitoring, pest control, and ethylene monitoring.
