Job summary

MBC Companies is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to support safe, high-quality food production. You will perform quality and food safety monitoring, inspections, and testing, while maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance with HACCP, SQF, GMPs, and Food Safety Plans.

You will identify and report concerns, communicate issues to management, and participate in audits and corrective actions to uphold product quality and regulatory standards in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GMPs and sanitation programs.
  • PCQI certification is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor compliance with food safety and quality systems (HACCP, SQF, GMPs, Food Defense).
  • Conduct pre-operational, operational, and facility inspections to ensure standards.
  • Maintain QA records (traceability, CCP monitoring, test results, corrective actions).
  • Verify products meet specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Support internal audits, customer audits, and third-party certifications.
  • Identify and report deviations; communicate findings to management.
