Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Math test is required for employment.
• High school diploma not required but experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document HACCP, SSOPs and GMPs.
• Conduct equipment inspection throughout the processing day.
• Calibrate scales and thermometers daily.
• Perform metal detector checks for foreign material.
• Perform quality checks including AQL defects and counts.
• Check temperatures of cooked products and ensure correct weight.
• Verify bag seals, labels and case coding.
• Collect samples for safety and QA testing.
• Conduct process control checks and identify nonconforming products.
• Communicate with supervisors about out-of-spec products.
• Additional duties to support production.
