Job summary

Capitol Kitchen is seeking a Food Plant Operator in Caldwell, Idaho, to transform ingredients into ready-to-sell products. You will operate equipment, assemble and package items, and ensure sanitation and quality across shifts.

Shifts are Monday through Friday with occasional weekends. This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to GMPs. Over time may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Warehouse or Food Manufacturing is a plus.
• Team players to achieve overall goals.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Initiative-taker with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to perform redundant tasks.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be available to work Overtime upon request.
• Knowledge of GMP’s and food manufacturing principles a plus.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Bilingual a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 an hour.

As a Food Plant Operator, you’ll help create, assemble, package, and prepare delicious food items that make their way to convenience stores and customers every day. From following recipes and operating equipment to keeping the plant clean, safe, and running smoothly, you’ll be an important part of the team behind the food.

We’re looking for dependable, detail‑minded team players who enjoy hands‑on work, take pride in quality, and are ready to jump in where needed. Food manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but a great attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to doing things the right way matter most.

Working Conditions:

This role requires a significant amount of movement to meet production rates. An individual in this role will be working with diverse types of food. They will also operate production equipment upon request. The position will require general physical movements such as frequent walking, standing, lifting (up to 40 Lbs.& occasionally over 40 lbs.), bending, twisting, and reaching. Environmental conditions include cold, wet, allergen, noise, and fume / chemical / odor exposure from raw materials and sanitation chemicals.
