Job summary

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing with supervisory experience; food manufacturing experience is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, SQF/BRC, and Lean practices is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience required.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred; snack food manufacturing and multi-line supervision preferred.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Food Science, Business, or related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, SQF/BRC, OSHA, production scheduling, employee relations, Lean Manufacturing, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety practices, daily observations, pre-shift safety meetings, and compliance with company safety requirements.
• Support food safety and quality standards, including sanitation, required checks, documentation, and audit readiness.
• Coordinate staffing, labor assignments, production schedules, changeovers, and production reporting.
• Monitor production efficiency, yields, downtime, waste, and labor productivity; identify improvement opportunities.
• Coach and develop employees, manage attendance and scheduling, address concerns, and administer corrective action when needed.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, safety, attendance, training, and shift communication records.
