Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc seeks a Retort Loader Machine Operator in Boardman, Ohio to safely operate loader equipment in a food production setting. You will perform setup, cleaning, maintenance, and document procedures while adhering to GMP, SQF, and safety standards.

Responsibilities include paperwork, equipment adjustments, and coordinating with production teams to meet goals. Prior experience in food manufacturing is preferred; high school diploma or GED is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous food manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Experience operating industrial equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate loader machinery in retort work area.
• Clean and sanitize work area and equipment.
• Maintain safe storage of retort cages.
• Perform operator-level adjustments and preventive maintenance.
• Complete required paperwork and touchscreen entries.
• Direct temporary personnel for rework activities.
• Follow GMP, SQF, OSHA and quality standards.
