Job summary

Bob Evans Farms, Inc. in Sulphur Springs, TX is hiring a production associate responsible for set-up, operation, and disassembly of equipment to produce both work-in-process and finished goods.

You will adhere to GMP, manage weights on packages, transfer materials, and support safety, sanitation, and SQF procedures while following instructions and reporting issues.

Experience with forklift handling is a plus; a high school diploma is required and 2+ years in food manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in industrial equipment or food manufacturing is preferred.
• Forklift/pallet jack certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to GMP during production, sanitation, and handling materials and ingredients.
• Maintain and adjust equipment to control weights on packages.
• Meet production performance requirements in a fast-paced environment.
• Transfer finished products and raw materials to identified locations in the plant/warehouse.
• Follow safety requirements including wearing PPE as prescribed.
• Perform CCP checks as needed depending on location.
• Follow SQF principles pertinent to the position.
• Report food safety and human safety concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Participate in PSRMP Element teams.
• All other duties as assigned.
