Job summary

Lyons Magnus Inc. is seeking a Downline Operator in Fresno, CA to assist in production and packaging of food products.

You will join a team to ensure safe, efficient manufacturing and adherence to quality standards in a fast-paced environment. This temporary-to-hire position reports to the Production Manager and requires the ability to work 5:00am–5:00pm or 5:00pm–5:00am, Monday–Friday, with overtime and weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and hygiene regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMPs) is beneficial.

• Operate machinery and equipment used in food production, such as conveyors and packaging machines.
• Monitor and control the flow of raw materials through various stages of production.
• Conduct visual inspections of food products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Report any product defects or irregularities to supervisors.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils regularly to maintain a hygienic manufacturing environment.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables properly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production targets and deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including batch records and inventory logs.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to maintain product integrity and safety.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Attend training sessions to stay updated on safety procedures, food handling regulations, and company policies.
