Open Scientific is seeking a Production/Packaging Mechanic for food manufacturing to join our operations in Melville, NY. This full-time role supports both 1st (5:00am) and 2nd (2:00pm) shifts, focusing on maintaining and repairing production and packaging equipment to keep lines running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has prior mechanic experience in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing, is comfortable working in refrigerated environments, and demonstrates strong troubleshooting and technical

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Mechanic in a pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with food processing and packaging equipment.
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment.
• Strong technical ability and mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.

Responsibilities

• Repair, replace, and troubleshoot various production and packaging equipment
