Job summary

Fresh Express in Illinois is seeking general production workers to perform a variety of food manufacturing tasks, including trimming, box assembly, packaging, and palletizing, while meeting safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

You will work Monday through Saturday, 4:00pm - 1:30am, in a noisy, wet and cold environment, requiring physical stamina and the ability to adapt to changing daily duties. Salary listed at $18.30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must follow verbal and visual instructions.
• Able to lift 25+ pounds repeatedly.
• Stand for 10+ hours.
• Work in a noisy, wet and cold environment (~36°F).
• Ability to work 6 consecutive days, overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Trim and prepare products and packaging.
• Erect corrugated boxes and palletize.
• Perform material handling and rework functions.
• Convey product spreading and condiment inserter tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and meet safety standards.
• Communicate quality issues to appropriate personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
