Job summary

Pilgrim’s Sanford is seeking energetic, self-motivated individuals for production line roles on 1st and 2nd shifts. Starting pay for 2nd shift is $19.55 plus a $1.50 shift differential, with weekends possible.

Benefits include medical, vision, dental after 60 days, plus 401(k) matching and paid time off after stated periods. Responsibilities include cutting, trimming, and fabricating products, lifting and moving items on a line, and adhering to safety and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, push, and pull product in a hot and/or cold assembly line environment.
• Must work with sharp instruments (knives and other tools).
• Maintain good personal hygiene and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and fabricate products on a production line.
• Follow USDA and Pilgrim’s product standards and procedures.
• Observe equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety issues.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Support team with skills and knowledge gained from position.
• Adhere to company safety, quality, and food safety policies.
