Job summary

Wegmans is seeking a production team member to help prepare, assemble and package ingredients for Wegmans Brand products. The role emphasizes teamwork in a fast-paced environment and contributes to smooth operation behind the scenes.

You will operate machinery, label containers, perform quality checks, and follow safety and labor guidelines while maintaining a clean work area. Previous manufacturing or food production experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing and/or food production experience
• Experience working under food safety guidelines

Responsibilities

• Produce, assemble and package products, operating machinery and equipment as necessary for the job
• Properly label all containers and carts, fill out log sheets, and complete tasks on batch cards
• Perform quality checks and properly handle products to ensure they meet food safety standards
• Practice safety techniques, complying with equipment maintenance
• Follow guidelines and labor laws, safely completing work, and maintaining a clean work environment
• Keep open lines of communication with management and coworkers
