Job summary

Ajinomotocareers is seeking a sanitation worker to join a food processing manufacturing team in Lampasas, Texas. The role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing production areas, machines and equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include following HACCP and GMP guidelines, handling cleaning chemicals safely, and assisting with general facility cleaning and waste management while working efficiently in short windows between shifts.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in food, beverage or dairy processing/manufacturing environment is required.
• Experience in sanitation and food safety practices is preferred.
• Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production areas, machines and equipment.
• Follow safety, HACCP, GMPs and sanitation SOPs.
• Handle, store and use chemical cleaners per plant SOPs.
• Move and organize supplies and prepare production areas for operations.
• Dismantle, clean and reassemble production equipment as needed.
• Assist with general facilities cleaning and waste removal.
• Work in a wet, cold, or humid environment and comply with PPE requirements.
